A lot of attention is paid to the Full Moons. They’re much sexier than the New Moon is. Everyone recognizes the power of the Full Moon, even those who don’t know anything about astrology. But the New Moon has power of its own that shouldn’t be ignored by anyone.
A New Moon occurs when the Sun and Moon are in exactly the same point in the zodiac. With the Sun ruling your true self and the Moon ruling your emotional self, this puts them together, making them work together towards the same goal. They merge to give you the opportunity to harness their energy and make things happen.
In the night sky, you don’t see the Moon when there’s a New Moon. As we go from the New Moon to the Full Moon, the Moon becomes more visible, growing until it culminates in the Full Moon. This is symbolic of the period after the New Moon until the Full Moon. It’s a period of growth. Because of this and the fact that the Sun and Moon are working together, the New Moon is a perfect time for a new beginning.
While the Full Moon corresponds to endings, the New Moon corresponds to beginnings. Start at the New Moon and end at the Full Moon. If you want to blaze a new trail, come up with a new idea, or start a new project, the New Moon is the time to do it under.
So when do you feel the impacts of a New Moon most? Much like the Full Moon, it’ll be when the New Moon is conjunct your Sun or Moon, or in your first house (the house of the self). With a New Moon in your Sun or Moon sign, you’re enthusiastic and positive, have the energy and drive that you need to embark on a new beginning, and don’t feel the same emotional weight that the Full Moon brings. The New Moon wants you to feel good so you’re inspired to do something big in your life.
As for the area of life it’s focused on, that depends on the natal house the New Moon falls in. With the first house, because it rules you, this can impact any and every area of your life that you want. It’s up to you. Opportunities could come to you without you even trying under the right circumstances. A New Moon in your first house is one of the best times for a new beginning, but you usually only get one each year, so it’s important to look out for it and make the most of it that you can.
One of the benefits of studying astrology is that you can look ahead to see when you have the best periods coming for you to begin anew. New Moons are just another tool in the astrological toolbox that you can use to your advantage to create a better life for yourself, which is something we should all constantly strive for throughout our lives.

Very well written.
One suggestion for consideration:
“Because of this and the fact that the Sun and Moon are working together, the New Moon is a perfect time for a new beginning”. Nic Gaudette
We should start on the day when new moon ends or next day after new moon ( the first lunar day after the new moon) because the moon starts growing from this day. New Moon day as such is not a good day for starting important job.
