If you have a strong natal Jupiter, you may be Jupiterian. You may have a strong Jupiter if your natal Jupiter is a singleton, the apex planet of a t-square, at a critical or anaretic degree, in the 1st house, conjunct your natal Sun, Moon, or an angular house cusp, or is the most or least aspected planet. You may also feel this with lots of planets in Sagittarius or in the 9th house, the sign and house Jupiter naturally rules.

Strong Jupiter in the natal chart can make you seem naturally Jupiterian – optimistic and positive, jovial and fun, someone full of light that everyone wants to be around, and always up for a good time. You can view life through a positive lens, and you can focus on the good. You can pursue opportunities when presented to you, and create opportunities on your own. This might make you seem kind of lucky, and you kind of might be pretty lucky sometimes. You can view the world with excitement, open to everything there is for you to learn and experience, and you can feel great when you get to study, teach, travel, write, or speak. You may be daring, bold, and willing to take risks that no one else does, because you believe everything will be okay, and that even if it doesn’t work out, you’ll be able to turn things around quickly.

The downside of a strong Jupiter is you can feel so good that you lack drive to actually do anything. You may feel like everything will work out on its own anyway, so why bother doing anything? Then your life happens to you rather than you living your life, and you never really do anything. You have to find some way to push yourself to take action and take the reins of your life instead of sitting around and watching life pass you by. Achieving your dreams rarely happens when you just let life happen, so take action.

You may talk a big game too, and this can get you in a lot of trouble in your life. You can make promises you have no intention of keeping, commitments you never follow through with, and plans that you never get off of the ground. This can make your word less valuable, and people may not put much stock into your promises, commitments, and plans. They may not believe in you, and this can make you either more defensive or lack belief in yourself. Watch what you say, and mean what you say. Words matter, so make sure the words you speak count.

Jupiter is the happy planet, so if you work on the difficulties, he can help you more quickly than the other planets and their difficulties. Once you’ve managed the Jupiter difficulties, you can manifest the positive Jupiterian traits, and be seen as someone intelligent, wise, and experienced. You can make the most of what you have so you make your own luck, and find the silver lining in every cloud.
