Saturn, Your Friend?

Robo Girl by Edka1221 - This is Robo Girl, for my another friend.I make it in minutes, but it doesn't look perfect...Maybe this is only first version?Saturn has a bad reputation. I suppose some of it is his fault for being such an unyielding disciplinarian, but some of it is undeserved. Saturn shouldn’t be the feared one that he is. People hear about Saturn and run screaming for the hills. They’re filled with dread and a sense that everything will go wrong.Saturn is the astrological disciplinarian. He wants us to learn lessons. That’s a good thing, right? Not if it takes you going through terrible trials and tribulations to learn them. Which is every human being on the planet. We’re a stubborn bunch, even the none-fixed signs among us.Since we’re so resistant to learning things the easy way, Saturn makes us learn the hard way. He doesn’t want to be so hard on us. We force him to be. If we didn’t fight him so much, he’d be much easier on us. And that’s the key thing to remember with Saturn – don’t fight him so much. When it comes to transit Saturn hard aspects, see them coming and prepare yourself to work with them instead of against them. You could still have to go through a trial, but it won’t be as severe, won’t last as long, and won’t scar you so deep that you spend years in therapy afterwards trying to recover.Usually, the ones that do the most damage are transit Saturn in hard aspect to any of your personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars), but especially the Sun and Moon since they rule you and your emotions. Look at the houses the planet is located in and rules to see exactly which areas of life will be impacted, and then be honest with yourself about what lessons you might need to learn regarding those areas. That’s the hardest part, right, being honest with yourself? You have to face truths that most of us are unwilling to face if you want to avoid the worst of Saturn.

In your natal chart, Saturn’s placement and aspects can show where you struggle most until you learn all of the lessons tied to it. Usually, this is brought to your attention during your first Saturn return, when transit Saturn returns to the exact placement it was at when you were born. This doesn’t mean that all issues associated with your Saturn magically disappear after your first Saturn return though. If you fight the return and don’t learn, Saturn will continue to rear his ugly head in your life. On the other hand, you can attempt to learn the lessons before your first Saturn return, and those who do usually get rewarded at their Saturn return.

And that’s the upside of Saturn! The rewards. So much of the focus of Saturn is on the horrors, but the upside is that when Saturn rewards you, it can be big. Really big. People tend to think of Jupiter as the one to bring gifts, but Saturn can out-do him easily. You just have to learn the lessons instead of run from them, work with him instead of against him, and be honest with yourself.

Easier said than done?

    Agree with the author.

Saturn being 10th & 11th lord in Kalpurush Chakra ( Time personified with Aries as first house) is holding two important portfolios, i.e. work and success.

We must love Saturn and learn from him.
