Sign Aries of the Zodiac

The zodiac in astrology consists of 12 signs namely, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. Each sign has been assigned 30 degrees taking the zodiac to 360 degrees. Twelve signs have been parked into four groups, each group having three signs. The four groups are: Fiery, Earthy, Airy and Watery. Here this writer is dealing with the first group, namely, Fiery signs.
Signs Aries, Leo and Sagittarius are known in astrology as Fiery signs. Fiery word is an adjective of word Fire meaning thereby that the Fiery signs have the nature of fire. It is a common experience that fire spreads more when it gets more of its feed. Further, fire has energy which can be tapped for human welfare as also for destruction. Same nature symbolically in substance is represented by Fiery signs in astrology. It must be noted that sign Aries is owned by Mars, Leo by the Sun and Sagittarius by Jupiter. In astrology that planets Mars, the Sun and Jupiter do not have the same nature. Therefore, the Fiery signs are impacted by their respective owner as well. While Aries is a fiery sign, it has the influence of its owner Mars who is a fiery planet. Thus, fiery nature is strengthened in Aries. Further, Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, giving it a tendency to be on the top.
An examination of horoscopes of men who have gone down in history as top army commanders has revealed that their position as such was partly due to ruling sign Aries. Subhash Chandra Bose, who formed and headed Indian National Army on the foreign soil during second world war to fight against the British, had sign Aries in the ascendant. Victor Hugo wrote a book “The Springing Tiger” describing the circumstances leading to the formation of the Indian National Army and its fight, equating Subhash Chandra Bose with a springing Tiger. Concluding the write up, it can be said that sign Aries has two ingredients. One, to be on the top and where necessary, to have it by a fight or struggle. These traits of sign Aries also manifest when the person is in fields of life other than armed forces.
