Uranus Square Pluto and Jupiter during June 2013 to June, 2014

Vedic astrology recognizes nine planets, namely Sun, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, Mars and North and South nodes of the Moon, also known as Rahu and Ketu, for predictive purposes.  It is obvious that Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are excluded in Vedic astrology for predictive purposes.  This is the majority view in Vedic astrology though a section of Vedic astrologers do not subscribe to the said view, and consider aforesaid three planets for predictive purposes as well.  It is for this reason that all leading ephemeris in India publish the movements of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto at par with other planets.  Here, this writer is with a section of Vedic astrologers who include the aforesaid three planets also for predictive purpose.

    It is being predicted by some Western astrologers that powerful aspect of Uranus Square Pluto from 2012 through 2015 is creating sweeping changes for world.  This writer has investigated into the prediction for a more precise zeroing in into the time spot.

During the period from 2012 through 2015, as per sidereal zodiac, Uranus and Pluto would pass through signs Sagittarius and Pisces which are owned by Jupiter. If about 23 degrees and 56 minutes are deducted from planetary position according to tropical zodiac , corresponding position as per sidereal zodiac is obtained.   It is, therefore, relevant to note the movements of Uranus, Pluto and Jupiter.  In the opinion of this writer, while Uranus and Pluto are in square position to each other, Jupiter becomes square to these two planets during June 2013 to next June 2014 which has a particular astrological significance.   It is not a mere coincidence that three major slow-moving planets are getting square to one another.  The impact on mundane affairs could be specific.   In order to know the areas of life which could be affected by the mutual square position of the three planets, it would be in the fitness of things to know their significations.  Jupiter denotes economy, religion, wisdom, judiciary, well-being in general, space and the like.  As regards the significations of Uranus and Pluto, this writer has found Linda Goodman’s description worth recording.   The planet Pluto represents one’s dark underground part.  It shows ability to transform the most fundamental properties in one’s own nature.  The sign of the Pluto is the way the obsessive, compulsive and committed part of one’s nature expresses itself.  The house placement of Pluto shows the areas of life, where one makes one’s most fundamental and most potent changes.  The aspects to Pluto show the deepest most unconscious links in personality structure.

    The planet Uranus is beyond the orbit of Saturn and can’t be seen without the aid of a telescope.  It represents the sky in us, that which transcends the limits of finite life.  Uranus raises the Vibration of everything it contacts.  The sign placement of Uranus shows one’s broadest striving for freedom.  The house placement of Uranus indicates one’s area of direct unique expression.  The aspects to Uranus indicate the way one expresses one’s need for higher consciousness.

    The broad significations affected by the three planets in square position show that some seeping transformation or change in areas of economy, religion, spiritual practices, judiciary, the unseen world, sky or space and the like is in the offing during June 2013 to next June 2014.  It may not be a surprise if some unprecedented scenario takes shape through the blurring of the wisdom.  This opinion is strengthened by the trinal position of two slow-moving planets, namely, Saturn and the north node, also known as Rahu from the Jupiter.  Though planets in trine are understood to be of benign nature, yet the nature of planets, Saturn and Rahu being in trine to Jupiter, is expected to militate against the properties of Jupiter.  Hence, the aforesaid conclusion.
