So, you are represented in the 1st house, while your relationship is the 7th house.

There is an applying conjunction between Mars and Venus, which rule the intercepted Aries & Libra in the 1st and 7th houses, so there is an application between the 1st and the 7th rulers, and both trine the Ascendant - which gives this relationship another chance. They are located in the 8th house, which is the 2nd from the 7th, the 'future' of the 'relationship'.

Then we see Mercury, primary ruler of the 7th being retrograde in the 10th (which is the 4th from the 7th, the 'final outcome' of the relationship), actually getting closer to the house cusp and preparing to go back to the radix 9th house. That's good news, because this spells that this relationship is not advancing to the finish line, but goes back to a previous situation, when you two were together.
