"Will I go to Moscow this summer? Will I be able to afford it?"
Horary astrology question
This week's question was received on Mar. 2, 2005, at 6:37:15 pm EET (-2:00), in Tirgu Mures, Romania (24e34, 46n33). More information from the querent about the situation: "My goal is to establish business relatons and visit friends."
This question was received during a void of course Moon period... which specifically points toward no further events about the issue inquired about. We may consider also the first house ruler, Mercury, to be void of course, since it doesn't apply to any other planet before changing signs. That is a double indication for a 'No' answer. It is really a good thing to look for and have several astrological factors all pointing in the same direction.
There are some who do not consider the Moon to be void of course if it is within orb of aspect with another planet, even if it has to cross the signs border in order to perfect that aspect. Even if we use that technique, in this case the final answer to the question is still 'No' because the Moon applies to a square to Venus, ninth house ruler (the 9th house is related to long voyages abroad).
Using the Sabian Symbols technique for horary charts that I have developped, the Sabian Symbol for this voyage would be: "INTOXICATED CHICKENS DIZZILY FLAP THEIR WINGS TRYING TO FLY."
Explanation: "Your first attempts at a new experience may prove less than elegant or skilful. There is possibly an attempt to do too much too soon. Soon things will improve and you can share the amusement others find in these early attempts. Find enjoyment in this intoxication, but remember to come back to earth when the feelings vanish. False courage. Inexperience."
Although this Symbol doesn't tell me much, I believe it does to the person who asked this question.
The second part of the question, if he will be able to afford it, may also be answered. We see Jupiter, the great benefic in the 2nd house, but also the ruler of the 2nd house, Venus in favourable sign (Pisces, in exaltation), yet in a cadent house, indicating that most likely he will have money for this trip, but maybe he won't be willing the spend it (Venus in the 6th house of everyday life: bills, food, other expenses).
