This article explores historical events related to USA wars using the astrology.
The reason for doing this was the observation that the ways the USA is involved in wars is tightly correlated with the aspects of Mars in USA natal chart, that is, the square with the Black Moon Lilith and Neptune.
In particular, when it comes to finding war pretexts, Lilith's natal position in US natal charts seems extremely sensitive to transits, progressions or solar arcs and stands for media manipulation, lies and different dirty tricks, such as inflicting self-damage and then blaming it on the enemy, as a way to wage war. Or, as Ralph Waldo Emerson has put it :"Most of the great results of history are brought about by discreditable means."

2003 Iraq War
The Iraq invasion of 2003 was justified by the possession of so-called Weapons of Mass Destruction by Iraq. In short time, this proved to be a blatant lie.
In astrology, Pluto represents such dreadful weapons.
On March 17, 2003, the day of Iraq invasion, Pluto at 19 Sagittarius was is exact square with US natal Lilith, while transiting Lilith was in sesquisquare (135 degrees) with its natal position. Huge lie.
2001 WTC towers attack
Hijacked planes were flown into the World Trade Center and Pentagon; another hijacked plane fell into a field in Pennslyvania.
On September 11, 2001, transiting Mercury (=the hijacked planes) was conjunct US natal Saturn (=the buildings). This is a clear representation of what happened: planes collided with buildings.
But, at the same degree there is the progressed US Lilith, representing the official myth of a sudden, unexpected terrorist attack, a myth used for tricking the American people and the whole into a so-called "war on terrorism".
The transiting Sun was conjunct US natal Lilith. The Sun, here, represent the US president, George W Bush, who was the key player in this event by not fulfilling his duties and letting it happen. Many people know much more than me on this subject, so I will not enter in details on GWB's role.
Transiting Lilith (falsehood, set-up) conjunct progressed Mercury (=planes) and sesquisquare progressed Mars (=missiles, military) refers to the possible substitution of hijacked plane with a remotely controlled missile.
Also, SA Lilith (=Solar Arc progressed Lilith) was sesquisquare US natal Lilith, such enhancing the Lilith symbolism.
1991 Iraq War
On January 12, 1991, the US Senate voted a resolution to support the Bush administration in a declaration of war against Iraq, following a few months of intense propaganda. One assertion that was particularly shocking to the American and world-wide public was that of Iraqi troops taking newly born babies out of incubatories and leaving them to die on the floor, based on a testimony before the Congress, by a 15-year old Kuwaiti girl, Nayirah. This girl was proved to be the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to the US, and the whole story was a fake.
Following the Congress resolution, on January 17, the US and international allies attacked Iraq.
Transiting Lilith was in square with natal Lilith, a testimony of a war started after mass-media intoxication with lies.
It is worth mentioning also progressed Lilith in exact square with natal Sun (=leader of a country).
1964 Start of the Vietnam War
The Gulf of Tonkin Incident represents the alleged North Vietnamese attack on USS Maddox on the night of August 4, 1964, that lead to the August 7 Congress Resolution allowing military actions against North Vietnam.
As it was later proved, there was no such attack on USS Maddox on that night.
Secretary of defense Robert S. McNamara said in his official statement before Senate Foreign Relations Committee that "we received, at about 9:20 Washington time on the morning of 4 August, information from an intelligence source that North Vietnamese naval forces had been ordered to attack the patrol."
The chart set for this date and time, August 4, 1964, 9:20 am EDT, Washington DC has the Ascendant at 18 Virgo, exactly on US natal Lilith. A very telling proof that the intelligence was false.
Transiting Lilith in opposition with US natal Mars is a perfect expression of an aggression that never existed.
Also, progressed Lilith exactly conjunct progressed Mars and exactly square progressed Moon refers to an exaggerated reaction, a hypersensitivity that led America to war.
1941 Pearl Harbor attack
On December 7, 1941, at 7:53 am HST, Japanese planes attacked the American fleet stationed at Pearl Harbor.
Transiting North Node (=purpose, intention) conjunct the Lilith - this act of war served the American interest of entering in the war. It is known, although not generally accepted, that the US military and president Roosevelt had knowledge of Japanese advancing to attack Pearl Harbor.
1898 War with Spain
On February 15, 1898, at 9:40 pm, in Havana harbor, Cuba, an explosion sank the battleship USS Maine. The American authorities quickly declared that it was a mine and blamed it on the Spaniards. USA went to war with Spain, under the slogan "Remember the Maine". Later, investigations showed that the explosion took place inside the ship.
Transiting Lilth was in square with natal Lilith, clearly showing the media manipulation of this event in order to wage war.
Transiting Mars in sesquisquare with natal Lilith, suggests that the explosion was in inside job, meant for the same purpose.
